Les Crudele, CEO and PresidentLes Crudele has 30 years experience with leading companies in the semiconductor industry. He began his career at Motorola, where he was chief architect for several Motorola MC68000-series microprocessors and served in a variety of management positions, most recently returning to Motorola in 1990 and serving as vice president and general manager of its RISC Microprocessor Division from 1991 to 1997. Les also has management experience at several computer systems companies, including Compaq, where he served as vice president and general manager of Compaq's Workstation Products Division from 1997 to 1999. From 1999 to 2000, Les served on the board of directors and as a management consultant for Quantum Effect Devices until QED was acquired by PMC-Sierra in 2000. From 2000 to 2004, he served on the board of directors of Banderacom, a privately held InfiniBand semiconductor company, for which he also served as president and CEO from 2000 to 2002. In 2006, he served for a six-month period as COO of Quickfilter Technologies, a privately held fabless semiconductor company. From 2005 to 2009 Les served on the Board of Directors of Transmeta Corporation, a microprocessor and semiconductor technology development and licensing company, where he was also President and CEO from 2007 to 2009. In addition, Les was an early member of the leadership team at MIPS Computer Systems and has served on the board of directors for several privately held companies and industry groups. Ravi Naiknaware, Ph.D., CTO & Co-FounderRavi Naiknaware is an accomplished researcher and inventor with 20 years of experience in high-volume commercial development of high-performance mixed analog-digital, RF and Power integrated semiconductor devices. In addition to semiconductor product development, his expertise covers architectural design, system level design, digital signal processing, communication systems, computer aided design, and high-performance software engineering. From 1991 to 1994, he was with Texas Instruments. Upon completing his Doctoral work in 1999 he joined Maxim Integrated Product where he designed advanced and high performing wide-band high-frequency high-resolution data converters for the wireless base-station applications. Ravi has been responsible for introducing about twenty advanced CMOS analog/RF integrated circuits, all currently in high-volume production. From 2005 to early 2007 Ravi worked at Intel's research laboratories where he lead breakthrough architectural analog/RF circuit-level research and design that lead to multi-standard radios including WiFi and WiMAX mobile technologies. Ravi co-founded Azuray Technologies, Inc. in May 2007. He received his B.Tech and M.Tech degrees in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India, and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Washington State University. He has numerous technical publications in IEEE and ACM Journals and Conferences. Jim Teeter, VP of Engineering and OperationsJim has 30 years of experience in establishing and driving world class performance in Engineering and Operations. He has a broad range of professional experiences including designing products and systems, managing new product development and introduction, and managing global operations. Jim has held several executive and management positions including, VP of Global Manufacturing and Quality at InFocus Corporation where Jim led strategic initiatives to establish world class operations in the United States, Europe, and Asia; VP of Supply Chain at Kentrox, LLC, a privately owned telecommunications product company; VP of Operations at Steridian, a VC funded start-up that developed and manufactured micro-displays; Sr. Director of Manufacturing at Planar Systems, Inc., where he successfully turned around and rebuilt the U.S. Operations organization, and New Product Manager for Laptop computers at Fujitsu Computer Products of America, where he developed the highest revenue business unit for the site. Additionally, Jim has a broad engineering background and has designed communication, audio, and display products to support the University of Illinois' PLATO computer system; robotic assembly, test and data collection systems for CRT manufacturing at Sony Corporation, and numerous data communication products at DEI, (Designed Enclosures, Incorporated). Jim holds a MSEM, Masters of Science in Engineering and Technology Management from Portland State University and a BSEE from the University of Illinois. He is also a certified Professional Engineer in Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering in the State of Oregon. Jim has served on the Oregon State University MECOP Board, a nationally recognized Engineering Cooperative program. Gil Miller, VP of Business Development and MarketingGil has broad experience in electronics startups with more than 23 years in leadership positions. From 2004 until joining Azuray Technologies, he was the Co-President and founder of Siren, Inc., a consumer electronics company specializing in digital audio and digital photo frames that grew to more than $20 million in annual revenue. Gil headed business development and product marketing for the Rio Group, a digital audio pioneer, between 1999 and 2004. At InFocus, he ran LCD projector product lines worldwide from 1995 to 1999. He has also held senior positions at Apple Computer, California Devices, Inc. and Advanced Micro Devices. Gil attended the University of Texas where he earned his MBA, as well as Temple University and Drexel University. |
