Azuray’s MPPT Power Optimizer Electronics embedded into Renhe’s
PV junction boxes provides up to 25% increased energy harvest.
PORTLAND, OR- MAY 31, 2011—Azuray Technologies, an emerging
leader in solar power electronics, announced today that Renhe
Photovoltaic Technology will display a MPPT power optimizer ‘smart
junction box’ at Intersolar Europe in Munich, Germany, June 8-10,
2011 (Renhe Booth # A3.610B). The new AP300 is a collaboration
between Renhe and Azuray Technologies that integrates Azuray’s
robust and reliable maximum power point tracking (MPPT) power
optimization technology into Renhe’s market leading PV junction box.
The AP300 increases solar energy harvest from under-performing
panels by up to 25 percent. When paired with Azuray’s ACM300
communications gateway the AP300 smart junction box provides a
complete system for maximizing solar energy harvest including solar
module monitoring and safety features for installation and emergency
situations.
Shading Simulation Software
Also on display at Intersolar Europe will be Azuray’s interactive solar
simulation software ShadeCalc™, which demonstrates to solar
professionals the real advantages of power optimization. The software
allows users to simulate real-world shading problems on a PV array
and anticipate the resulting gains in energy harvest. Users can adjust
the amount of shade over the array as well as choose between a
variety of solar module specifications and configurations.
