Azuray Technologies Announces Full Certification for the AP300 Power Optimizer Smart Junction-Box
PORTLAND, OR- July 5, 2011—Azuray Technologies, an emerging leader in solar power optimization electronics, announced today its AP300 power optimizer smart junction-box received certification for both Europe and North America from TÜV Rheinland, a leading certification agency. This TÜV certification of the AP300 highlights the high quality components and design to meet temperature ratings from -40 to +90 degrees C. The AP300 has been certified to meet the following standards: UL1703, UL1741, CSA 22.1 C107.1, VDE-0126-5, and IEC 62109.

The AP300 recoups up to 99.2 percent of energy that would otherwise be lost due to module mismatch or shading, thereby increasing a PV system’s total energy harvest by up to 25 percent. When paired with the Azuray ACM300 communications gateway, the AP300 smart junction-box also provides solar module monitoring and safety features for installation and emergency situations.
