Junction Box Embedded DesignThe AP300 includes Azuray’s sophisticated MPPT power optimization electronics in a PV junction box. This provides solar module companies the ability to offer the market a junction box solution for maximizing energy output for PV arrays. The AP300 can increase total energy harvest up to 25% from PV modules experiencing shading, module mismatch or soiling. Monitoring and System PerformanceWhen paired with the ACM300 communications gateway, the AP300 provides PV array owners the ability to monitor the performance of each solar module. In addition the owner can receive email alerts on changes to system performance. Safety FeaturesSafety is of foremost importance when it comes to protecting the investment of a PV system. When used in conjunction with the ACM300, the Azuray ® AP300 provides a variety of safety features. At the time of installation the solar modules are installed in the off mode. Power production does not commence until the installer commands the power optimizers to turn on from the ACM300. In addition, the AP300/ACM300 combination has the ability to shut off the power from the smart junction box when the red shut-off button on the ACM300 is engaged.
No Need For Additional WiringThe power line communications link between the AP300 and ACM300 means that no additional wires are required for the PV array. All communication occurs on the existing DC wiring. Twenty-five Year ReliabilityThe Azuray AP300 is designed for twenty-five year life and worry free operation. The reliability of the Azuray AP300 is designed in using superior high-temperature components suited for the extreme temperatures of the PV System. |
